It helps in the strengthening of the fabric and keeps the fabric as firm as possible during the application of custom embroidery. In case of a light fabric, a heavy stabilizer should be used and in case of a heavy fabric, a light stabilizer should be used. It a general rule for the selection of best stabilizer for any fabric.
